    Milgard Designer Details

    1. Windows have a mitered glazing bead to enhance the overlook.
    2. Even sight lines come standard and enhance the architectural style of the windows.
    3. Folding handles for use with casement and awning windows provide a sleek and finished appearance.
    4. Milgard Tuscany vinyl windows come in 2 choices of colors. White or tan.
    5. The Pureview screen from Milgard comes standard on all Tuscany windows giving you clearer sight and improved light transmittance.

    Milgard Locking System

    Locking System:

    1. The Smart Touch lock comes standard with the Tuscany window line and features a one touch function. This means you can unlock, open and close the window using one hand.

    2. The Smart Touch lock exceeds the toughest forced entry requirements ensuring your home is secure.


    1. Milgard Tuscany windows come with vent stops for controlling ventilation. This locks the window in place with an opening of approximately 2”-3”.

    2. Screens are easy to remove and re-install using the pull rail system.

    3. Double hung windows come with constant force sash balancing and tilt sash functionality.

    Installation Configurations:

    Block Frame:

    Milgard Installation Configurations

    This type of frame is used when you have existing wood frame windows. Usually the existing windows will operate as single hung, double hung or sliders.

    Nailon Fin:

    This type of fin type is used for new construction scenarios the stucco or siding on the outside of a home is removed.


    This type of fin is used when a home has existing steel frame windows. The zbar fin covers the existing metal frame on the outside of the home, without the costly removal of the frame and the resulting stucco and paintwork needed afterward.
